New ferry service linking the Ionian Islands will be inaugurated in March 2018.

What good news for the Ionian Islands!  A new linking service announced by Shipping Minister, Panagiotis Kouroumblis will provide ferries between Corfu, Lefkada, Cephalonia and Zakynthos – good for tourism, trade and ease of travel for those living on islands.

Perfect for those holidaying in Kefalonia (or another island) who want to island hop for part of their holiday.

A few photos of Ithaca taken in October 2017.  This is an island not to be missed: history, beauty, enchanting villages – we loved it!

Ferry at Vassiliki on Lefkada and some photos of Corfu town, Paleokastrista and the Ladies of Zalonga. What an amazing trip we had and too much to list here.

These photos are taken in Olympia and Epidauros in 2016 – a ferry trip from Poros, Kefalonia to Kilini in the Peloponnese – a trip that just ticked all the boxes.  We travelled from Olympia over the high mountains to Epidauros; alpine villages, views that defied the senses, returning via Corinth on the way back to Patras and the ferry home to Kefalonia.

We have found the ferry services in Greece absolutely wonderful – on time, clean and efficient.  Could you want for more??
