Outside: Plenty of outside furniture is provided. There are
wooden tables and canvas and wooden chairs, resin and metal chairs and
resin sun-loungers) a portable barbecue and an outside oven. The
terrace is immediately outside the main living area the perfect
place for soaking up the sun by the pool, dining al fresco in the
shade or under the stars at night. There are quiet areas around the
garden just take your chair or lounger and snooze under a shady
tree.
 We
have built a full-size boule court just at the bottom of the steps
down from the pool terrace at the beginning of the orchard.
The Garden : When we were
considering the garden we wanted it to be all things to all people,
somewhere to play, somewhere to eat and drink, somewhere to read, rest
and think
or just do ...... nothing.
The garden was landscaped and planted in October of 2005. There is a
grassed area around the pool, and beyond a rockery and a wild area
planted only with native plants. There are hedges of fragrant and
flowering shrubs in many parts of the garden. There is also a
productive area of vines, olives and fruit trees which include lemons,
grapefruits, clementines, oranges, figs, pomegranates, peaches,
nectarines, pears and apples .
We have two walnuts (of course), pinenuts and almonds as well as
ornamental trees and shade trees. In November 2007 we picked our first
harvest of olives and a complementary bottle of oil will await our
guests.
